Program conditions and eligibility criteria
 

1-Eligibility: a) Abu Dhabi based academic institution or b) Abu Dhabi based company, or c)Emirati national residing in Abu Dhabi

2-Financial support: Financial subsidies which cover costs of drafting, filing and prosecuting US patents. The level of support is determined based on relevance of subject matter to Abu Dhabi Vision 2030

3-Time limits: Patent must be filed within 2 months of application approval

TDC will evaluate applications to ensure eligibility and completeness, which may include an in-person interview with the inventor(s)

If the application is approved, TDC will communicate the approval decision to the applicant including next steps for beginning the patent filing process
